I am looking to start my 2.5 y/o in a preschool program this coming fall. I am at my wit's end because there are no good, reliable online sources for finding other parent's reviews of schools!
I would like to place her in a private preschool, some where in the areas of Winter Park/Oviedo/Casselberry. Any advice or suggestions, bad or good, would be most welcomed.
Thank you in advance!

Check out the pre-school at Community United Methodist Church in Casselberry. It's right on 17-92, about 1/2 mile north of 436.

A great school in Oviedo is First Years Preschool & Kindergarten.

Default Good Pre-schools

Check out Noah's Ark in Longwood (17-92 & 434) & Star Child Academy in Oviedo. Both of them use the ABEKA program, which is by far the best. Also, my daughter went to Noah's from age 2 until she graduated. Ms. Varga is the 2 year old teacher and she is wonderful. You will be surprised at what they learn. The facility is very clean and they encourage parent participation. It is located at the First baptist Church in Longwood.

All 3 of my children attended this preschool as well as a neighbors and my sisters kids..

I would highly suggest this place if you want a christian influence and a gentle hand.

The only cons I have about it is they only go from 9-12 or at least they did when mine atended.

Good luck!

Willow creek pre school in winter springs is one of the best schools in the area....we did a lot of research and finally sent our son to willow creek. The principal Mrs Sandy Scholl is one of the finest ladies and principal I have met in my life. I am so happy to leave my son in his building years under her guidance. The teachers are extremely caring and trained. The school is much better than the private day care centers where you pay may be triple the amount and don't get the same kinds of teaching. I highly recommend it to any body looking for a preschool for their children.

Angry Preschools in Oviedo

Do NOT put your child in Tuskawilla Presbyterian Preschool under any circumstances. This is a church preschool that has serious moral and ethical problems. There are staff members who just are not honest. Also, this preschool does not follow Florida State Guidelines for public health or for parent/teacher communication. My child's teacher was just plain hostile towards him. Beware. Stay away.

Default Great Childcare!

You should go to Little Flower Academy in Casselberry. It was hard to find loving, quality and SAFE care for my baby but they have been absolutely wonderful!

University Carillon Early Learning Center. Loving staff, fun educational experiences, and great family atmosphere located across from UCF football stadium.
