We are looking for our first home. Right now we have a realtor who I am getting very frustrated with. She keeps showing me things at our max price or higher than our max, saying we can negotiate down. Since this is our first home, our max isn't very high. But I see listings for homes $20-$40grand cheaper than what she shows us, some in the same subdivision. I know how to use a computer to see properties online & get so frustrated when I ask her about cheaper properties & she dismisses it. I would like to see it & decide for myself.
My thoughts are, yes, I can go to my max point, but if I can get a home that I like for 10's of thousands less, then please show me the house.

But anyone who can recommend a realtor that knows the davenport/Loughman area well, that does not mind showing less expensive homes, please let me know.

Interested if you found anyone.

We were over from the UK 3 times.

Had a bad realtor, and found 2 better ones.

Don't like the idea of sticking with one, each can only show you so many.
We want to view as many properties as possible.

I don't want to defend any particular agents behavior, but maybe the other properties priced less were short sales. If so the agent should have still been happy to show these to you, but explain all the benefits and all the risks involved when offering on properties in that situation.
I do a little bit of business in the Davenport area, but mostly just short-term rental poperties in the 200+ range. I do know and have worked with many great agents in the area if no one else has any suggestios for you.
