I wanted to put this in Hillsborough County but do not see that. So, I'll try Orlando where grandpa is buried. Someone will know.

Across the bay - or some body of water - there is another county. I think it is an island but I'm sure it is called by a different county name. Can someone please tell me the name of that county - if I am correct about it not being Hillsborough?

Thank you. Hazel W

P. S. If you are wondering why I don't simply look at a map, it is because my fading vision will not let me - not the one I have anyway. The cities are visible but the county names are not.

Pinellas County is a peninsula across Tampa Bay from Hillsborough County/Tampa. Cities there include St Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, Dunedin, Pinellas Park, Seminole, Palm Harbor, Tarpon Springs, Safety Harbor and Oldsmar.

Thank you. St Petersburg rings a bell. In round numbers, how close would it be to Wimauma?

I appreciate your reply. Hazel W

It is 45 minutes away.

If you still want to post this in the forum that will provide you with the best answers to any other questions, then the Tampa Bay forum is your best bet.

Oh, thank you. I did look for Tampa but didn't think Tampa Bay would get it. Should have tried it.

Have a good day. Hazel
