So many promises of it being "near completion," or under "intense construction," yet it is still an unfinished shell...

Could this be the year that a hurricane knocks the stupid thing down, paving the way for more ambitious, younger, hungrier buildings? We all die one day. I believe this monstrosity has more than exceeded its stay on our beautiful land.

GO DORIAN!!!

Well if they did, they're just as slow as the previous owners. Knock the piece of **** down and start over.

Ah, but don't forget. The Eyesore was built with "God's help", according to the original owner.

If you're a follower of certain TV evangelists, you believe that God sends hurricanes to punish those towns who fly rainbow flags or in any way wander off the beaten path of righteousness. In that case, is He going to knock down something under his aegis?

For me, I wouldn't mind not having to look at that thing.

You should take a closer look. They’ve gotten a lot done the past several months, and looks not far from where interior work can take place. Not sure where all the cash came from suddenly but it’s apparently there to spend.

My son pointed it out when we passed it the other day. I’m still not convinced. Are there even potential tenants for the space? Of when completed, will it just be a huge empty shell?

I am pretty sure they got money from i4 expansion since they had to take some of their land.

They'll easily get tenants I think if finished well. Maitland Center is close enough and most of those buildings are getting dated.

Probably so and explains the sudden push to finish.

Dated, but still very efficient, and relatively cheap. Those seeking a more modern, classier building can easily just go across the street to Maitland Summit. I’m surprised they even got the approval to build that there.
