Does anyone do a lot of traveling ( or at least, use to, and then will continue after things open up ). ?

If you regularly fly out of Orlando airport, do you usually take an Uber there, or do you just drive for the extra, extra flexibility of knowing you have your own transportation and then especially when returning, not having to wait at the crazy departure lane for the Uber ?

How is the parking rates? Have you ever had a security issue with leaving your car more than a week?

i'm thinking of converting to using my car for airport transpo, and letting go of relying on uber/lyft.

I used to fly Delta and I'd park in Terminal Top Parking. It had 10 or 11 levels and is $19.00 a day. You could put it on you E-pass (sun-pass) account, it's the closest parking garage to MCO.

Uber isn’t bad at all at the airport. Maybe a 5 minute wait.
That said, I alternate, depending on my mood. Sometimes I do what SanyBelle mentioned, other times, Uber.

You still have to get out of that massive parking garage, so you don’t save all that much time by driving your own vehicle.

It's $19 a day in the Terminal-Access parking garages (A, B and C) and have never had to go more than one floor above the Baggage Claim level to find a space, and is by far the most convenient in terms of walk distance or time in my opinion.

I always used to head to level 7 so I'd remember where I parked and I'd get a space very close to the elevators. No need to go this high since there were lower spaces, but it didn't take long to get up to 7.

To me for $19.00 bucaroos a day parking, getting there and out, after a couple o' days, Uber or Lyft would probably be a much better bet, unless your end destination is 50 mls away from MCO.

No extended cheaper rates in Orlando by the Airport ??? Miami is full of them and a LOT CHEAPER that the Airport's Daily Rate.

I love it that I have none of those headaches...I Bus and Metrorail to the Airport (MIA), FOR FREE and back...We are after all like any European city out there with the added benefit that Sr Citizens ride Miami Dade Transportation for FREE.

When Tri-Rail can finally arrive at MCO, and Brightline too...You Folks will be in heaven...We will be the State in Florida that will resemble any Country in Europe, and Tourism will finally REALLY Flourish for Good in the Sunshine State

There are many but the cost differential isn't such that adding extra time or stress of another layer to the trip to me just isn't worth it.

IIRC one of them is literally free.
It’s just out in the sun.
But you also get a free shuttle to the airport.

I have enough anxiety about getting through security on time, let alone adding whether or not a parking shuttle shows up when it should. Some love to do the two hours + before a flight rule but I tend to fall into the 90 minute camp.
