In my opinion neither the Kirkman area nor Millenia mall area are very good. If you are prepared to have a 30 min commute you will find much nicer areas. In terms of the other poster, i think this thread has covered the areas pretty well. I would say take alook over Winter Garden because if you choose the right area its centrally located and just as nice as windermere but without the high price tag.

When I try to search condo on rental.com, I cant even find anything in Doctor phillip or Windermere (well 1). I am suprised that Metrowest is high crime. I mean it looks very nice from the outside.

Oh, and winter garden is about 25 minutes from millenia based on map.google estimated, but that is w/o traffice right ? I wonders if there is any traffic coming from there to millenia area?

Metrowest is close to some bad areas rather than being that bad itself IMO.
I think it is targeted because of the nice areas around there. The Walmart brought a lot of traffic from low income and high crime neighborhoods right down to the main drag where a lot of nicer apartments/condos are. The area gets nicer west of Hiawassee as you get closer to Windermere and Winter Garden.

I thought Winter Garden is East of Hiawassee ? near Florida Hospital (on Orange AVE)

That is Winter Park, another nice area; I call it the "old Money" part of town when advising people.

Thank you for your advises.
Is Dr.phil area on Sanlake Rd. West of I-4 ? I think I will start searching Condo/townhome in this area and Windermere. We are on a tight budget. I am not sure if I can find something sub $800 in these 2 areas.

The turnpike does get busy, but as an example i was at Millenia mall on Saturday and it took me 35 min to get there and i am on the other side of Winter Garden in the nice area, it may aswell be Windermere because we have a winter Garden address, but it is actually Windermere.

You will find Realtors have access to current rentals aswell. It depends on what you are looking for but i have just sourced rentls for people in my area.

Yes that is Dr Phillips. They are notorious for having very few condos or apartments in that area when compared to other nice options. I have not done enough research to really advise on the amounts, but that is kind of an average rent for an above average area so you might have your work cut out. If you cannot find anything, feel free to ask about another area.

Too be honest you will be lucky to find anything sub $ in a truely good area. For example 2 bed townhomes in Winter Garden/Windermere are averaging $1050. Celebration which is a nice community aswell but is pver priced for what it is, for a 1 bed condo you would be hard pushed to find one for $900
