I know it's FL but it seems it's really hot so early in the season. I hope this isn't an indication of what's yet to come this summer.

I heard on the news that it is hotter than normal but the humidity is not here yet, hence the fires. It should get more humid in June which absorbs some of the heat then makes it feel sticky.

I was there last week for a visit and I thought I was going to DIE! I guess I'll need to acclimate once we move there.

It was one of the major reasons I left Florida. It helped that we had a nice pool in our backyard though. My biggest issue was 90 degree Halloweens and Easters.

I love the heat! In fact when the temperature was in the mid 70s, last month, for about a week, I was literally freezing. In short, if your here long enough (I'm originally from the Northeast) your body should adapt.

I remember it getting to 97 in May 2-3 years ago, again very, very hot and probably as hot as I've seen it get in Orlando, but as someone said the humidity wasn't there like it will be from June through September. If it gets to 97 this summer with higher humidity then watch out cause the heat index when it get to 97 in May a couple of years ago was 110,if the humidity is higher, can you say oven!!

Where did you end up moving to? I've been here 8 years.

I agree that the 90s is a little too hot for this early but I think once the rain gets here it will bring the temps down a bit.

When I lived in Texas, anything below 100 was a gift.
Its all in what you like. I personally prefer the warmer weather but its not for everyone.

This is normal. Its hot as ballz right now and even though we're not in the rainy season its pretty humid. I've lived throughout north and central Florida and Orlando is the most uncomfortable place in the spring and summer. Last weekend I spent time in Brooksville and in Citrus County and it was much breezier and noticably cooler at night. Part of the problem in Orlando is there is very little shade. very few large shade trees to protect you from the scorching sun.
