We are visiting Orlando the week of May 18- Memorial Day. Does anyone have any advice about the new water park Aquatica? We had several friends come down during Spring Break who said that they could not even get into the park because it was full to capacity at noon. I'm sure during the week is better than the weekend but I wanted to know if anyone here had any advice about the park or any knowledge about what to expect or does anyone know if the lines or admissions to get into the park are still filling up by noon?

It's been nice and sunny and HOT lately which means everyone wants to be at the new waterpark. If you're going around Memorial day I suggest you get to the park at opening!!!

I have heard good things about the park in general, but do not expect to see the animals (dolphins) that clearly on the slides because they move too fast. It is good for a water park, but the innovative things they tried to do fell flat. I a supposed to go sometime this month or so, so I will have to come back and give more info, this is word of mouth from about 3 collective accounts of the park I have heard firsthand.

Go to Aquatica during the week, not the weekends or holiday. Wear dive booties or something like that. The ground is hot and we burned our feet. Hold your nose when you get to the clear tube on the Dolphin Plunge because you'll arrive very quickly in the water. Notice the word Plunge-it happens. Wear a life vest on the fast lazy river, it's more fun with than without. Take advantage of the all day pass to food and drinks. Look for coupons and promo's for savings and discounts.

It was fun for our family. Except for the lack of footy protection. Enjoy

We have season passes and love it! We love the Rapid River. You definitely get your money's worth with all the rides they have. I would avoid going on Memorial Day but any day you choose get there at opening because when the parking lot (which is not very big) fills they start turning people away. But even at capacity the lines are not too long compared to the Parks.

Bring sunscreen and remember to reapply. I still have a sunburn from our last visit over a week ago because I forgot to put my 50 SPF on again.

Have fun and let me know if you have any questions.
