Looking for nightlife of clubs (no hiphop) in a safe area of Orlando. I heard there are many bad areas. A friend mentioned Club Passion on OBT. Is that a safe area?

Well, OBT is not known as the safest area. Check out Orange Avenue downtown. You could also do the whole Universal CityWalk or Disney Pleasure Island thing.

Just go downtown to Orange Ave and you'll find something that fits your taste regardless of what that taste is.

Orange Blossom Trail is one of the worst areas of town. I would go to the clubs at Universal Citiwalk, Downtown Disney (until 9/27 when they will close) or some downtown along Church Street or Orange Avenue. Most of the clubs downtown actually play a variety of music. If you go on a Friday or Saturday the crowds will be large and there is a lot of police presence to keep everything under control. I feel pretty safe down there because of the crowds and police.

you should check out PI at Downtown Disney before they close it

But your best bet would be downtown Orlando.

Whaa? What's closing.... Pleasure Island? That's kind of shocking.

I would suggest Citiwalk... its has everything you would want and its the safest you could be.

Yeah, they are developing the area with the 6 major nightclubs into more shopping and dining options. There is no word yet whether new clubs will be opened elsewhere on Disney property at this time. You can read about this in Orlando Sentinel or through a Google search. I know I was shocked too! Apparently those stores down there make more money than we know =)

Go Downtown! lots of clubs with different types of music I`m sure you will find one to your liking.

Just don`t wonder to far west use the I-4 as a gideline west of that is a bad area!

Do not! Goto OBT that area is crime central lots of crack heads and drug dealers I would never go hang out at night in that area.

OBT is the Toilet of Orlando.
