For those of you that have been living in Florida for awhile, do you miss the snow?
For those that grew up in Florida, what did you think of snow if you didn't have it growing up?

I recently moved to Orlando..bout 4 mnths now. And I've got to tell you..i can't imagine what christmas is gonna be like without snow, snow men etc. Someone told me that they decorate the palm trees...wth?? I cant even imagine that.

i will definetly miss the snow on a freezing cold day, when work is closed..drinking hot coco, curling underneath my blanket and either watching the snow fall or the Lifetime Channel.

Its the after math that I can do without..cleaning the driveway, cars and falling due to the ice from time to time!! But the scenery is beautiful!!

I've been in FL now for a little over 3 years. Grew up in Michigan and after dealing w/snow, sleet & salt for all those years. I wouldn't lose sleep if I never saw the white stuff again.

lol its weird when you see Christmas lights on palm trees and snow men on lawns in Florida . It doesnt feel like Christmas as the snow/cold added something to it but overall rather look at palm trees than foot or more of snow in the driveway .

This Dec when you look at the lit Palm trees you will find it so out of place.

I don't live in Florida, but I live without snow, and I do miss it after living in Maryland many years back. I guess a dull winter rain is just worse LOL. If you don't have to drive in it or shovel it (big IFs, I know!) snow is lovely, and wonderful for kids to play in.

I have a special needs son who's grown up here, and last year visiting Santa Claus I whispered in the man's ear that he could go ahead and promise him anything, the child had been so good. Santa nodded, starts chatting to Son, and I waited by the reindeer 'til they were done. Then Santa walks with my son to where I'm waiting, to tell me, "He wants.... SNOW, on Christmas Eve."

ZONK!!!

He got a bike instead.

And I miss snow!!
