hi everyone! im from nj and planning to move to orlando. im single and i plan to go to ucf for my bachelors degree. i plan to buy a condo or a townhouse close to florida hospital in orlando where i would be working. i wanted to know which areas has good neigborhood and amenities with a reasonable homeowners association fee?? i saw this condo unit at avalon park and the price i think is reasonable,, so if anyone has any info about avalon park i would appreciate ur comments. i also want to hear ur opinion if im really making a big mistake in moving to orlando,fl from jersey??? i know money wise i would be making a lot less in florida but i guess the cost of living is way cheaper than in jersey.. i work in a healthcare field by the way... i would greatly appreciate any info u guys can give me about orlando.. thanks...

probably not a big change from nj to orlando, people-wise. cost of living i am sure is cheaper, but like u said, less pay.

avalon park is nice and surrounding areas, although very transient (but so is all of orlando).

The choice of moving to Florida or staying in New Jersey is a decision only you can make. Questions you should ask yourself are, will I be able to maintain the same standard of living I do in New Jersey on Florida wages and will my career benefit from the move? If you can answer yes to these questions then I say go for it.

If you are moving to the east side of town i would recommend Oviedo.
