Just wondering if you guys have had alot of rain, flooded streets, wind damage, etc. Or is it just the normal 40 mph winds, etc. Usually a storm like this isn't too bad from my experience.

It was just a rainy few days here in Kissimmee. There were gusts this morning but you know when you never loose your electricity with KUA that the storm must not been to bad. I never lost my power or even my Direct TV signal.

My thoughts are with those on the coast. The rain is relentless over there. What a weird storm this has been and it's not even close to being over yet.

Thx! I'm not too worried about the winds, just the amount of rain really. I know 2 years ago we had a hurricane that kept doing loops in the Atlantic and it seemed like Orlando had a bullseye on it. That was really weird!!

Yes, in 2004 it seemed like the hurricanes were out to get us. I found this on link on WFTV's website and it shows the paths of all the hurricanes in the last few years: Florida Hurricane News - Information, Orlando, Central Florida, Storms, Severe Weather (http://www.wftv.com/hurricanes/13460519/interactive.html - broken link)
You will notice how in 04 they would look like they were headed away from us then would change paths last minute right for us. I hope we don't have another year like that!

Ok, it's 8am and guess what???? It's still raining!
Actually it seems heavier this morning......anybody have Noah on speed dial?

Other than some loose branches shaken loose, nothing major around Orlando yet.

I do believe Apopka has some trees down.

LOL Kali' Grandma...if you find Noah's number let me know.

It's rainy harder than ever down here in Osceola county too. I am now getting worried about a few streets flooding if it continues much longer.

Yes, it definitely seems worse here in O-town today, in fact, the worse yet to me. It's quite windy out - I could hear the wind all night long and our house is so tight we usually hear nothing. It's still raining - nothing heavy, just constant. We are beginning to get a little standing water in the conservation - but we are at least 8 feet higher than the conservation. All our streets are clear with no standing water anywhere that I can see.

I'm very thankful. My heart goes out to those elderly people in Melbourne whose homes are flooded. Did anyone else see the older gentlermen channel 13 interviewed on the bus. His attitude was AWESOME! There was no whining or blaming the government like you usually hear these days. I hate to say it....but the World War 2 generation had a spirit we seem to have lost. We are sooooo spoiled and whiny anymore.
