Does anyone know of banks/ lenders offering good deals for foreign nationals. We are relocating from the UK in about 12 months but are hopefully purchasing now if our offer is accepted.
Thanks in advance

If your not moving for a year then I would hold off on buying. As for the lenders/banks, it took me 18 months to establish good enough credit in the U.S to get a loan.

I beleive the bank most of my clients use still has a decent foreign national program that does not need U.S. credit. They have changed their guidelines quite a bit lately and will only allow the mortgage on certain properties with a good amount of money down.

You have already put an offer in on a property without being approved for a mortgage??

Greg,

Could you please send me information on the bank. The offer on the house is subject to obtaining finance which should not be a problem.

Regards

Jon
