I'm thinking that this is the lowest one. Maybe $1.00.

Picture Show at Altamonte

There are a lot of second run theaters that charge about $4-5 around town.
There is one by Fashion Square (Colonial Promenade), another by the Florida mall (soemthing like AmStar Sand Lake), etc. I have not heard of the picture show, but that sounds cool.

The one at Colonial Promenade is $2.50 and .50 on Tuesdays. It's decent and not too dirty, but the screens are terrible. The sound system is as well - every movie I have seen there in the last year has been so full of buzzing and popping you can barely hear the movie.

The one in Altamonte is better and yes it is $5. So not really a dollar theater per se.

That sounds awful! I just looked it up online and listened to their recording and they have gone up! All show, all times are $2.50 and $1.00 on Tuesdays.

There is one on Colonial across from Best Buy just East of Fashion Sq. There is also one on Lee Road and 17/92. The Carmike closed on University. Those are the cheap ones I know of.
