I didn't go out this morning to go shopping. Instead I went out about 1 PM. It didn't seem any busier than usual. I really thought it was weird at Wal-mart, that the items on the early morning special were still available. They had a
19" flat panel HDTV TV for $179. It was a great price, but they had several left. I mean about 20-30. Usually those things go right away. I guess ppl don't really have the money for those big ticket items this year.

I went out this morning and it was very busy at our Walmart and Target. It was mostly the video game consoles that were selling from what I saw. The line for them was crazy! The people were a little more civilized this year as well but the staff at these stores are clueless and made it frustrating. I got some great deals. I always have fun on Black Friday but I am also a bit of a masochist

I didn't go out, money is too tight & the economy is too bad for me to splurge....I had to resist the urge.

I couldn't resist the urge to splurge, lol. I did notice here where I live in NC that the stores were not crazy busy like previous years, with the exception of Toys R Us that is...
