Hey Guys...hows the IT job scene in Orlando? I've been in IT for 17 years ...wow...somebody around here is getting old. Anyway, I moved from Programming to Business Analysis with the hopes of getting into IT Project Management. Does anyone know what the outlook is for this job market? Thanks...

The IT job market 10 years ago was sluggish due to the economy. The job market for IT seems to really have picked up recently. 10 yrs ago the base of the market was DoD and now there is a much more diverse civilian base.

I'm also in IT and I'm moving down officially this weekend. I have found the job scene in the Orlando area pretty good in fact. The one thing that I have found a tad humbling is the salary ranges, but I kind of expected that anyways. The reality is, if you're good and you've been in IT for awhile, there is definitely work to be found in Orlando.

Actually, I found it the opposite, however, coming from the panhandle....
