Hello,

I am looking to move from phoenix to the orlando area. We have chosen between lake mary and winter springs. We are trying to decide between the two and would like the help of you all.
We have 4 small boys so we need excellent schools,
nice areas with little crime,
low traffic (more of a smaller city)
Nice homes for rent that are 1300 or less for about 4 bedrooms
Good Hospitals
Cheaper but nice overall
Shopping and dining near (such as target walmart, etc....)

Which would you reccommend out of the two?

What are some pro's and con's about the two?

How do I find housing and jobs in those areas. Everytime I search those cities orlando still comes up.

Thanks

Both areas are very nice. I am new to Lake Mary myself, so I really don't want to make any comments about schools, crime, etc. but so far my husband and I really enjoy living here. We have encountered very nice people and Lake Mary has a Target and is very close to Sanford where there is a Super Wal-Mart and Super Target. If you are looking for rental properties I would suggest you look on Craigslist and see what is available for rent. You can also check rentals on realtor.com, but there won't be nearly as many as there are on Craigslist. Good luck with your search!

I think both areas are very nice but don't end up getting a job downtown...the commute will NOT be fun.

I would say Lake Mary fits the bill. Very close to shopping and great schools. Very low crime in both areas.
