I live in Canada and am thinking of buying a 2 bedroom condo in Windsor Hills. I believe the exterior in covered by the monthly fees. In ballpark figures what would I be looking at for contents insurance from fire , robbery etc and what would I be looking at for hurricane and tornado insurance.

thanks

You can get insurace around $500 a year for 50K Property and 50K contents (which is probably more than enough coverage). Good Luck!

Any suggestions for getting homeowner insurance now? I am a State Farm customer and need to find a new place. Either no one is writing or the ones writing are places I have never heard of before. Citizens should be prosecuted for as much as they are trying to charge me.

Allstate, Nationwide, etc - none are writing new policies.
