I am moving to Olando when I return home from my deployment, and I am looking at Azur @ Metrowest, on Raleigh St off of S Hiawassee Rd. I am a single mom with two kids and I need to know if this is a good area for a family. Please help me.

I'm gonna have to say Metrowest is hit or miss. I live at the hamptons in metrowest and would not bring my kids there should I have any. You might want to give Stonebridge a look. It's in Metrowest on Robert Trent Jones. Ive heard nothing but good things about that place and I live in the hamptons right next to it. It really depends on what sub division you live in.

I second the Stonebridge comments above....that is an excellent community.

Two other complexes that you may want to look at are Bermuda Dunes and Element...both are in a nicer part of MetroWest and have units selling at very low prices at the moment.

The school district should be Dr. Phillips High School, if so that's one of the best ones in Orlando. I graduated from there, so speaking from first hand experience, not just stats. The only other option would be Olympia High School. I attended that high school, but have friends who did and they had positive things to say as well.
