I totally agree with this comment. I have been saying this all along. I am no longer a WAG employee but the same BS is happening everywhere. We should all get together and do something about this. I personally am not asking for much, all I ask is to stop being treated like an uneducated **** on. Frankly, outside of WAG, pharmacists are the most educated hard-working staff out there, hands down. We need to do something soon before we all get sick and have nervous breakdowns. My career should not be affecting my personal life this much.

Well it does seem that CPO is doing less and less for us at the store. We have been given all our scripts back to fill ourselves, no more 7 or 8 boxes full of plastic bags each morning. Each day the CPO center drives the typing and phone calls back to us with a pop-up message that they are being overwhelmed. Reviewing seems to be sporatic throughout the day we will go on for hours where all scripts just sit well past promised time and then after a couple hours of that we are swamped with labels printing nonstop for an hour or so. The poor pharmacists are spread about as thin as can be, voicemail, patient counselling, phone calls, reviewing, cashiering and now flu shots. It really must be some sort of a social experiment to see how much can be piled on before the structure breaks.

It appears that some non-imminuzung pharmacists (either due to refusal or medical inability to immunize) in the Chicago area have been put on unpaid leave or had hours drastically reduced beginning tomorrow.

I miss Kevin, Cork, and Dan Jorndt. Any idea when CPO/central fill arrives for the rest of us? I can't imagine the company giving up on that POWER idea since it results in fewer pharmacists on the payroll. With some clinics and emergency rooms using vending machines to dispense meds, and video/on-line pharmacists available for consultations, how long can it be?

Walgreen work at home rphs in Florida are paid $3 less than if you work in the building. The Rphs in the cental fill received a 50 cent per hour raise this year and will get another 50 cent raise next year. The work at home gets paid $50 per hour and no raise for 2 years!!! If you are used to mail order pharmacy then you should like this. Its not like a store..you have to produce evry minute. Good luck in Texas but remember no pay raises!!!!

Default Dallas Grads

I hear in Dallas that the grads are only granted 24 hrs per week so that would mean NO insurance. Just not right.

It's the same in Chicago..new grads are only being guaranteed 48 hours every 2 weeks....this sux. Um, new grads kinda need insurance too.

Also, they are all being interviewed by supervisors....may not be offered jobs in their district at all.
