We recently closed on a home in Heathrow last month. We were deciding between Heathrow, and Magnolia Plantation.

Now, one of our friends is also looking for a new home in the same locations.

It seems to be the homes in Heathrow are maintaing their value slightly better than Magolia Plantation. I think previously Magnolia Plantation homes were selling for a lot more per square footage than Heathrow.

Now it seems the people in Magnolia Plantation have had to drop their prices on their homes dramatically compared to Heathrow.

So which area is selling better?

Our new neighborhood in Heathrow (homes in the high 500-upper 600 range) in Heathrow have sold within 2-3 months of listing price (the last 5 in the past 8 months).

What''s everyone take on this?

The price range our friends were looking were about the same price range, 500-700K range.

Not sure if things are leveling off or could drop another 5-10% for all I know.
