Hello everyone,
My wife and are considering relocating to the Orlando area from Arizona. We have two young children ages 6 and 10, we need advice on where the best areas are to look for homes with good schools. I currently work for target and I'm looking to transfer to any in the area so driving distance isn't an issue. If anyone has suggestions I would be glad to hear it. Thanks.

The better schools and more family-friendly areas are in Seminole County. Check out Lake Mary, Sanford (western half), Oviedo, Winter Springs, Casselberry (Tuscawilla/Lake Howell area) or Longwood (Wekiva Springs area).

Of course I'm biased because I love living here, and we moved here because we wanted better schools for our daughter, but the Windermere-Winter Garden area has some good options depending on your price range. The closest Target in the area would be at Winter Garden Village, and it is a very sizable one.

Look at the 34711 area of Clermont, make sure you are zoned for Windy Hill Middle and East Ridge High--all A rated schools in that zoning and less expensive housing than some of the other areas mentioned.
