I am a true pizza lover, and I have been searching for the best slice in town since I got here 6 months ago. I have tried several, mostly New York style places around. The best I have found so far is Brooklyn Pizza in Winter Park. I hear great things about Goodfella's Pizzeria, but it's way out by UCF. I live in Maitland and that's over 20 miles away. Anyone have any suggestions for places a bit closer to the city?

Anthony's Pizza on Hwy 17-92 in Casselberry (by Publix) or Del Dio on Hwy 436 in Fern Park are pretty good.

Goodfella's has the best garlic knots in town... I had some just today...yum! marios is a little hole inn the wall on Curry Ford and Goldenrod and they have the best Calzones around. For the non meat eaters the vegie calzone is amazing. Im not a fan of the NY style of pizza so that part you can keep. I do love the variety of California Pizza Kitchen though it is a chain.
