finding a Realtor to help me find a rental home available in October? Every time I Google I come up with a ton of homes for sale, and vacation rentals. Am I googling the wrong terms?

Unless you were to offer an assistance fee to them I'm not sure how... motivated... one would be to assist you, since they would normally not get paid.

My guess is that most homes that won't be available until October won't be listed for another month or two.

actually, we can get paid but the fee is nominal and requieres that the rentor goes through us. It doesn't help our cause when people ask for the help, we give it and they cut us out. I reguularly assist people with this as well. I'm fortunate that I don't have to deal with the fees of the companies so there are no costs associated with my services.
