Universal Studios (both parks), Bush Garden (you can take a bus at Universal's at 8am and it takes you to Busch Garden for 10 dollars), Sea World, Hollywood Studios, Prime/Premium Outlets, Daytona Beach...

Yes, I know about the beaches. I have never been to a real beach outside of the Texas Gulf Coast(Galveston). How is Daytona Beach different? Is it worth it to go? Also, anyone have more info on the GatorPark thing. That would be really cool!

Daytona has on beach driving, so its more convenient, you don't have to walk long walks with all your beach stuff in the hot cement and sand. You just Park, and set up your beach site.

Welcome to Gatorland, the Alligator Capital of the World and Orlando's Best Half Day Attraction!

They also have a bird santuary thing there, so if you are into photography I understand that is cool as well.

There are also lots of places to take Airboat rides as well if you want to see alligators in the wild...

Here is one
Big Toho Airboat Rides | Airboat Video Tour (http://www.bigtohoairboatrides.com/video.php - broken link)

I don't know anything about that particular one...it has a video of the ride. Just google on airboat rides Orlando and you will get lots!

Funny, the cars are the exact reason I don't like Daytona and New Smyrna. I think they ruin the atmosphere of the beach completely. I guess each person has their idea of what a beach experience should be like. For the east coast I much prefer Cocoa Beach, or sometimes take the extra half hour each way to go to the west coast.

If you do make the trip to Daytona and are a NASCAR fan, Daytona USA is always a good deal. It's right at the speedway and they have track tours.

Well I definitely recommend Walt Disney World, esp. the Magic Kingdom and Epcot and SeaWorld is great too.
Wonderworks is really fun and they have a great family friendly magic dinner show.
Busch Gardens is a really great way to spend the day , get the meal pass ~ it's great!
Universal is wonderful for adults and brave kids ~ a really fun day there.
Aquatica is a great water park, as is the Disney water parks.
There are beautiful beaches in Tampa and a beautiful zoo too ~ Lowery Park Zoo.
We really like Pass-a-Grille beach near Tampa.
I can't really recommend many outdoor stuff as we've only been here a few months and we mostly spend our time at WDW and SW.
I do know Blue Springs is nice though.
If you're coming in the fall orange picking is a wonderful taste of Florida thing to do too
A really fun day trip would be St. Augustine ~ they have a wonderful Alligator Farm there and the fort , the lightener museum and lots of great places to spend the day .
Daytona is about an hours drive and a nice beach you can drive on ~ there is also a really yummy chocolate store with free factory tours called Angel and Phellps I believe ~ definitely worth a visit
Have fun!
