He got what was coming to him. No sympathy here. I'm sure we'll hear his mother wailing about what a good boy her son was and how he'd never hurt anyone.

Im glad the owners are safe. who cares about the thug? if you don't like the risks choose another past time. He gambled, he lost.....pity and we are safer for it.

If more people had guns and acted in the manner these people would there would be a lot less crime.

Home invasions seem to be on the increase in most parts of the country.
I generaly have a gun within reach no matter where I am in the house and since Ohio passed the Castle Law I have a legal right to protect myself and family. I don't have to try to get away from them or wait for them to use deadly force. All they need to do is break in and I can use deadly force.
I've always been pretty much prepared for an intruder but the Castle Law gives me more legal rights to protect myself.
When the dog alerts to someone being around the house, I'm making sure I know who it is and if I don't know them I get prepared. Hopefully the only thing I'll ever do is prepare and not have to act.

The pathetic thing is, if the intruder had survived, he probably would have sued the owner.
