HI.. I have guests coming to visit from out of the US for a couple of weeks,, they don't have US health insurance,, anyone know if short term health insurance exists and which insurer do u recomend?

Their own policy from wherever they are from should cover them. We needed use of an emergency room while traveling in Europe and it was covered by our policy.

It doesn't work that way. Most Europeans are covered by social insurance that won't pay for thier treatment outside of their country or the EU. Same with Canadians.

OP, try the travel section here on City Data, you should be able to get an answer there.

If your friends are travelling from Europe or in particular the UK then they can buy travel insurance from their country which will cover medical expenses while they are here. All travel companies sell this, although the best deal in terms of price and coverage can be purchased from the Post office (if they are from the UK)
