Thanks for the great link! I just moved to zip code 32818 and like it here so far. Your link shows that the zip code I moved from (19711) has a violent crime rating of 5 and a property crime rating of 6, while 32818 has a violent crime rating of 3 and a property crime rating of 2. This will help me convince my Mom that my sister and I haven't taken our lives in our hands by moving here. Actually, the property crime rating where my Mom lives (11793) is 4, so we can tell her we're safer than she is. Or maybe not, then she'll want to move down here too. The houses and people here (Walden Grove off of Balboa Dr.) are pretty good too so far too.

I also live in 32818 and have lived in my house for almost two years and really like the neighborhood. I know all of the immediate neighbors and we all look out for each other. I wasn't about to move into the main part of Pine Hills for love nor money. I'm really glad I found this house and am very happy here.

The funny thing about Orlando is that you will have good areas right near bad areas, you can`t really go by the zip codes here. Tell some specific neighborhoods and I can give you an opinion on if it`s good or bad I have been all over this city.

One area this it all bad would be anything due west of downtown about out just past john young parkway.

Also just because the area is not run down looking does not mean its a low crime area there are some run down areas but not all high crime areas look bad.

Other then being busy with traffic around there the crime is not too bad, but further south on Semoran closer to colonial and lake under hill is not good there have been a few murders over on that end so far this year.
