I hadn't thought of it, but agree, Belle Isle would be another place worth looking at. I know a couple of people who live over there, it's quiet and family oriented and safe. Very convenient to everything, and just off the radar a lot of the time which isn't a bad thing.

Based on what you posted..I would move to the Point Loma area of San Diego CA. Rent for a year then buy. It's expensive, but you can beat some of the COL by buying a used car, using the trolly system..it's a nice city.
