Would like to get general thoughts on this topic. What is the general feeling in Orlando? Are good times coming this way? Is the worst over?

Certinaly the real estate in FL took a massive hit but there is news that thats somewhat stabilizing although I read that most sales are short sales or bank owned. The unemployment is up. Yet the tourism industry is getting by because dollar is cheaper and Brits love to spend mula here in Orlando. All the big theme parks are expanding raising prices like there's no tomorrow. Other than Disney layoffs earlier this year, there really havent been any massive/significant layoffs. Many people just leave the city to find job up north but thats their problem.

What say you?

In my area, and the people i surround my self around, i don't really feel or felt the recession. My family has been getting a long fine, same with my neighbors, most of my friends, and relatives. The only thing thats different is theres not as much construction going on anymore. I feel like the worst is over.
