There is a possibility I may be relocating to Orlando for a job sometime after the new year. I want to start researching nice areas to live in that area close to Disneyworld where I would be working or somewhere between there and Universal Studios. If there is anyone on this forum who is a performer for either park and relocated to Orlando for a show, neighborhoods you lived in or any tips would be appreciated! THANKS!

I am currently a seasonal cast member in attractions, and one of my roommates is entertainment and we all live in Independence which is right behind the Magic Kingdom cast parking lot. This area is really close to Disney and all the parks are within a 15 minute drive and you do not have to go on the highway. Alot of castmembers live in Davenport (since it is inexpensive), I think there is a thread on that area on this board as I personally don't care for that area. I know cast members that live all over though...Windermere, seaworld, Hunter's Creek, Dr. Phillips, Metro West, Winter Garden, and Celebration. There are over 50,000 cast members spread out all over Olrando, I enjoy living in Indepenence, Universal is about 25 minutes away, downtown Orlando is about 25 as well, the airport is about 35.....beaches about an hour or so depending on which one. I think your budget will definitely depend what are you can live in.....Hope this helps a bit...

Check to see on year rentals in a Lindsfield House in Kisimmee. My son and his roommates who all work for Disney live there and love it. It is close to Animal Kingdom and the rest of the parks.
