I know the Christmas lights at this time of the year are beautiful. I was wondering, does anyone know if they have horse drawn carraige rides? If not, does anyone have any suggestions to any small towns with nice Christmas lights that do? Mt Dora does, I just found out. They have a Christmas light tour Fri and Sat night weather permitting. Here's the website if anyone is interested: http://www.adventuresinflorida.net/A...eCarriages.htm If anyone else knows of others, let us know.

I drove through last night and saw at least one horse drawn carriage in operation. The lights were spectacular. Peculiarly enough, some the best lights were actually a little outside of downtown at the boat factory, they really did it up.

Where is the boat factory if I come down 46 from Sanford. Would you walk around there or drive?

I think I may have gave the wrong impression when I say the boat factory is just outside downtown. It's literally down the block on the lakeside.... if it was downtown Orlando it would be part of downtown. As far as walking or parking I would definitely walk and take it all in.

Could you better tell me how to get there once I get in town?

Take Donelly Street down to Charles avenue. Just past the train tracks right on the lakeshore, you can't miss it.

Beat me to it !
I think(?) its a club & marina though.....

This display is incredible !!

I really have never seen anything like it.

We saw it last year and just couldnt stop staring
at all the stuff going on.

Mt. Dora's town center is one of my favorite places
in the country
