I am moving to the Kissimmee/Poinciana,FL area in a few weeks and would like to know of a reliable, reasonably priced cable company with good service.

BrightHouse is the dominant provider in the Orlando area sadly. I say sadly because they suck ass.

I have a bundle with DirecTV and AT&T I get 250 channels for $57 a month but that is after my rebate

I have BrightHouse and think it has been OK, but I think satellite and DSL may be cheaper though I don't have experience with either here. I think the main reason why people like BrightHouse is the no contract thing.

i have had Dish, brighthouse and Uverse. I like dish alot and iut is the cheapest and way cheaper than Brighthouse. If you get a signal strength of 100 or more storms won't knock you out. , at least it didn't me. Bright house has horrible picilation issues, is expensive and not my recommendation. U-verse is good the internet is fast. once in a while it needs a reboot but it is pretty decent. but its about the same price as Brighthouse. but in my package I have a seperate fax line, wireless internet and hardwired internet, more channels than I can watch and one series of movie channels I never watch.

I'd suggest Dish over all, unless you want your internet from them too. When I had Dish I had a DSL line and it was still cheaper than Brighthouse.

I don't understand all of this "satellite is cheaper than cable stuff." If I want a package similar to what I have with Brighthouse (Digital Cable, DVR, no premiums), satellite is only going to be cheaper during the first 6-12 months. After that, it is almost the same or slightly more once you add the equipment fees.
