I want the live and let live attitude, i also like the idea of living in a 24 hour town. Orlando seems to shut down after 10 pm, BORING! Not a big fan of southern baptists, MOST not all, come across to me as racist and intolerant for the most part IMO. No offense to any southern baptists on here

I like the outdoor activities available in Las Vegas, I like the idea of being able to go water skiing and then snow skiing within the same day. Lake Mead and Mount Charleston are just an hour apart driving time.

Orlando targets family entertainment. Who says that kids and adults can't be entertained by the same thing? Yes there are some attractions targeted for kids only but there are also many attractions targeted for parents or adults only, but most are targeted for all ages. Orlando is family vacation destination, all ages can have fun here. Las Vegas is strictly an adult getaway vacation destination.

You'd be surprised GLS, there is lots of entertainment for kids in Vegas. I think both Vegas and Orlando are the entertainment capitals of the world IMO.

Vegas has lots of shows that all ages are allowed to attend. I have several friends who are still under 21 and went to Vegas as kids, and teenagers and had an absolute blast!

So surely, there is entertainment for those ages 0-20 in Vegas

I knew there were some shows and stuff for all ages in las Vegas. But Orlando attractions were built on family entertainment/amusement for all ages and Las Vegas attractions were built on adult entertainment. Both cities have exceptions, like how there are non kid friendly attractions in Orlando.

I dont, I choose not to. Its contradictory IMO that I despise tourists so much yet I seem to have a fatal attraction to wanting to live in tourist towns

You're a smart guy, I trust your intellect. What are some non-kid-friendly attractions in Orlando?

He also claims Orlando is going to shrink because he said "there have always been more people leaving then coming in" and that they are going to live in "real cities" He also cited my plans to move out of state later this year as "finally having the good sense to leave this sorry excuse for a city" but then complained that las vegas is another "faux big city just like orlando" He doesnt consider tourists towns to be real cities

I think Orlando is a major city. Just over 2 million people living here in all 4 counties, there are more people leaving then coming currently but overall a lot of people are still coming here so the percentage of people leaving is very small. We still have a lot of good things going for us as well and I think when the economy picks up Orlando is going to kick off its rapid growth again

BTW you can tell my dad really hates Orlando.
Yeah I consider Orlando a big city. To me it is. I don't really care for any other city in FL besides Orlando. I mean I consider FL having 3 big cities. The Northern one like Tallahassee or better yet Jacksonville. The central one being Orlando. And the southern one being Miami.
