Yes the Florida Mall is in 32809. The area is decent at best. Oak Ridge encompasses both 32809 and 32839 but more of it is in 32809.

If you are traveling on Oak Ridge Road between John Young and Orange Ave you are in 32809, anything west of John Young is 32839. The area is like I said, decent at best. Lots of very old homes that appear to have been built in the 1950s or 1960s, particularly at the intersection of Oak Ridge and Brookgreen Drive.

32839 is a strange zip IMO. The area by the Millenia Mall is awesome. Very beautiful and new, in spite of all the traffic on Conroy Road there, I like driving through that area because its so beautiful

That changes so much as you travel east on Conroy when it turns into Americana Blvd. The area goes downhill very fast

Holden Avenue is an interesting road as well. Avoid South OBT and Holden like the black plague man! My parents used to live at Universal Suites (aka Tusany Village) that place was horrible.

What makes Holden interesting is that if you travel just 3 or 4 blocks east of OBT you see this beautiful brand new McMansion homes being sold with builder advertisements everywhere. And yet these brand new subdivisions are right next to subdivisions that have sat there for decades (50s-70s not sure on that one), east Holden between OBT and Orange Ave is pretty nice and well kept for a 32839 neighborhood.

West Holden between OBT and Texas Ave, forget it. That place sucks

It seems to me as if OBT is almost the dividing line between the good and the bad in the 32839 zip code. Millenia being the exception to this

Someone I used to work with at Universal used to live at Coconut Palms.(Over by Kirkman and Conroy). She used to say she heard gunshots and people's cars getting broken into all the time. I thought it looked like a nice area.

I stayed over at Tymberskan (over by Texas ave) and she thought I was living in the suburbs

With the exception of Pinnacle Pointe and Pinnacle Cove apartment complexes Meadow Woods though a little lower class is a safe neighborhood

It is true that a lot of the older homes thier don't look so great. But in the past 10 years there has been so much new construction that the good now outweighs the bad.

Take a drive along Rhode Island Woods Circle and Wyndham Lakes Blvd and you'll see what I mean. After you see all the homes there one could go as far to say that Meadow Woods could be considered an upper middle class neighborhood

I think you are talking about the ones across the street from the Winn-Dixie Americana Plaza correct? They are on the right side of Texas Ave?

I know where you are talking about, not those.

It's right between Americana and Rio Grande. Coming from Americana you would pass the complex your talking about and I think two more. Its the raggidiest out of all of 'em.

To the OP, you want to avoid those areas we're talking about at night

Look toward the left of the middle of the map you'll see Skan court (off of Texas ave) that's where Tymberskan is

Ok I know where that is. I was thinking of a different apartment complex. I recognized Lemon Tree Lane because I used to know a guy who drove for Lynx, lives in there. Havent seen him since I bought my car back in March
