The plus side to this is that some of the wildlife that is not indigenous to Florida is being killed off. Hopefully this last chill and the next one will take a few more Burmese Pythons down with it.

I was getting a little concerned when I saw all these huge lizards in South Florida. I lived there for 18 years and never saw anything like them. Iguanas aside, there are these new fat lizards everywhere. Clearly people are messing with the ecosystem.

This is nuts--we went right from excessive heat with no real fall tos peak of to crazy cold.

It actually felt warmer to me when I was walking through a blizzard in Philly a few weeks ago tham it does at night around here lately.

This Florida winter has sucked so far. Although there were a few beautiful days.

This winter sucks...it negates much of what we look forward to here. However, I still think it is way worse anywhere else. This is nothing even compared to an average Atlanta winter. My sister lives in Philly and is buried in snow. This is really not comparable.

Ya know, I don't care for the cold but honestly I think this is how winter should be. I just hope we don't go from cold to hot now. I want to have a nice spring with temps in the 70's.

I have to agree with Annerk, it was hot all the way through December, then it turned cold. No fall so to speak.

Yeah this was a weird year, it seemed like we went from sweltering heat to almost freezing temps in just a few weeks. Usually there's a nice transition.
