Do check on EBay under AUTOS because buyers and sellers use auto transporters daily.

One thing that I've heard over and over is that whatever day they say they will have the car at it's destination, add anything from 24 hours to a week or more to their time frame. My neighbor had her car shipped from LA to the Orlando area, unfortunately she's not home or I'd ask who she used. If I catch her tomorrow i'll let you know.

Good luck!

Can you put the boxes and such in the car? then throw it on the train. That will be one of the cheapest ways to transport a car.

Good luck on the move. Remember what the sun looks like, you don't see it much in Seattle.

As far as I know it was only the car. My guess is that they don't care if you've got stuff loaded in the trunk, although they won't take any responsibility for it. You might be better off shipping it UPS ground.

The autotrain only runs from VA to Sanford, it doesn't run anywhere else in the US. There is no autotrain on the west coast, and definitely not one for cross country.
