I think it just depends when you are going. I think it would be impossible for any of us to give you a definitive answer. When I flew to Las Vegas I think we took Delta there and another airline (I can't remember but it was not Delta) on the way back, it was cheaper to book 2 one ways for the times we wanted. We had directly flights but it just depends on the airlines schedule. I think it was around $250 for both flights but this was back in 2006. My advice is to just check every website; each airline independently and travel sites such as Expedia Orbitz, and Travelocity.

I've actually thought the same thing. I wonder if there's a lack in demand for people in Greater Las Vegas or Greater Orlando to travel directly to the other city. Both metro have similar populations so I'd imagine 2 airlines flying direct flights between the 2 cities is enough, especially due to their similar/yet different pull. Both cities have countless direct flights between themselves and NYC, LA, Chicago, Atlanta, etc., because those metros have much larger populations that wish to visit Vegas and Orlando, or they are hubs, and therefore more flights are supported. Both Orlando and Vegas have rockin' airports that are much larger and busier than their metro population should allow.

Yeah -- it's definitely a nice amenity for the locals Outside of the big hubs in DC, NYC, Philly, Chicago and Atlanta, Orlando has the best selection of domestic and international flights around.

I love both the OIA and McCarran International in Vegas. Both are great places. Much better than boring ole Bradley International in Connecticut
