Hey Everyone,

I'm in a bind. I just moved to Singapore (SE Asia) for work and found out that to drive any motorized 2 wheeler you need a motorcycle license. I've lived in China and Thailand and getting a motorcycle certification in these places was extremely simple in the few circumstances where you had to get one. So you can imagine my surprise when I found out that in Singapore it takes 3 to 5 months of tests and courses to obtain a motorcycle license, and even then it only certifies you up to 200cc. However in Singapore you can convert an international motorcycle license by just showing the license, so there is hope.

Unfortunately, the last place I had a motorcycle endorsement in the States was in NJ, and when I moved back to Florida before coming here I didn't get the endorsement transferred (I think it probably should have been transferred automatically, but I didn't need it at the time so I when I got the license without it I didn't say anything). Worse yet, when I came from NJ I either lost the old license with the endorsement or gave it to the DMV when I got the FL one, so I have no proof now that I ever had a motorcycle certification even though I'd been riding for 7 years before my few months hiatus in Florida.

So here is my question: I don't have plans to come back to the states until December, is there any way I can take an online test or do some sort of rider class over here and get an endorsement added to my FL license and have my family mail it over so I can get a license here? If anyone can think of any way out of this dilemma I'd really appreciate the help.

Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance!
