Hi, I just graduated from college in Georgia and I got a job in the Dr. Phillips area. Can anyone tell me a good area to live, such as apartment complexes where younger people live?

Dr. Phillips is a beautiful/safe area but there are limited apartment choices. What is your price range? You may be able to rent a townhouse or small house but obviously that would depend on your income. Generally, Dr. Phillips is a family-oriented community... I can't think of any specific place where younger people would live.

specific places where young people live include the downtown neighborhoods, and the ucf area. That's where I think young people are most concentrated. But young people are present in all areas throughout the metro.

Depends on your budget, because the best place would be in a condo downtown. Downtown is loaded with young people and the nightlife here is great.

My friend is 27 and has a condo in Dr. Phillips. Its a sweet place but definitely requires some income. Not sure how much you're salary is going to be but being a young professional in Dr. Phillips should be decent enough pay. I sure wouldn't want to be working in Dr. Phillips but living with a bunch of college kids by UCF or College Park. Best bet if not Dr. Phillips would probably be Thorton Park or The Grand on South Street.

(I don't recall the name of my friend's complex but I'll try to find out for you)
