Hi, me and the wife are moving to S. Conway blvd next week right near michigan(sp) st. I had a few questions about the area.the cvs over on curry ford road west of conway (a 24hr store) will I have any issues (besides rain) rideing my bike to and from for work?also are there any indoor basketball coarts in the area or gyms (i know LA fitness has one I'm sure but I don't want to pay 40 a month just to ball) that run mens leagues? (im 30 and want to get back into shape playing bball again)and, any good local mom n pops eats in the area?

The CVS at the corner of Conway/Curry Ford is NOT a 24 hr store, unless they just changed it like yesterday or something. Biking from Michigan to Curry Ford won't be that big of a deal safety wise. LA Fitness has an indoor court like you mentioned. There is a Planet Fitness further south at the intersection of Hoffner and Conway. It will most likely be cheaper than LA Fitness but I don't know if it has a basketball court. I like Bella Italia Pizza in the Winn-Dixie shopping center off Michigan.

Oh. So, that CVS may be 24 hours. That's a long bike ride...

The Sunshine cafe is in the plaza East of Crystal Lake. On Crystal lake there is an Italian place that has the best spring salad in town.
The Y on Bumby I think has hoop... the ride would help get you in shape. There is a Planet fitness near as well but no hoop there.

There is a lunch truck that sits in a gas station parking lot on the southwest corner of Curry Ford and Conway that has great mofongo. 1 block east of there is an Irish Pub called the Clattach Cottege that serves a great Irish Stew. The Publix shopping center to the west has a little bar called Pipers that has good food and a good local bar.
