What size home would you be looking for and what kind of commute time are you looking to stay within (and are you going to be commuting during rush hour?).

The commute from Clermont to Downtown will take quite some time. Area's in Windermere and Winter Garden will take a bit less time and traffic on the West side taking 408 usually isn't too bad.

The East side has Eastwood, Stoneybrook East and a few other options but slightly worse traffic along the 408 to Downtown.

North you can't go wrong with Heathrow as it seems to fit just about all your current criteria. But the commute along I-4 will likely be a PITA during rush hour.

To the South in Dr. Phillips there is Orange Tree and Bayhill, But Orange tree will be older homes, and Bay Hill is not gated.

Depending on the size of the home you're looking for will determine what neighborhoods in each area may be within reach.

I agree with those who have recommended Stoneybrook (both West and East are nice), Eastwood, Lake Nona, Dr. Phillips, Windemere, and Lake Nona.

For your price range, you can get something nice in any of those areas.

Good luck!

Winter Garden, below highway 50, is fantastic! Georgous communities, some gated.

FYI, it's only five minutes longer from some of the nicer communities in Clermont than it is from Stoneybrook West.
