Hey I recently had a good experience from a local car mechanic. My car was acting up and it seemed like a transmission was about to go. I had taken it to AAMCO and they said it was the tranny and it wouldn't last 3 months and they would charge $2300...

I went to K&D transmission on Forsyth. and he found a switch was bad and replaced it for $160 and the car works great again. He is honest in a profession that sorely needs it. He does other repairs too so if you need a decent mechanic that is fair and honest.. you might give him a shout. message me if you need the number...
