Ok I planed on buying the new Alfa Romeo Giulia, once they go on sale. But now I am rethinking it because, of the possible problems that may occur with it. As much as I love the car, the fact that it's made by FCA makes me a little nervous. So would you wait, or just get one when they go on sale are FCA cars really that bad?
The Alfa Guilia has had all sorts of teething problems and delays coming to market, in order to reengineer major systems. (Crash worthiness, handling dynamics, etc).
I would take a wait and see approach to it. It looks fantastic, but I suspect there will be many things for the early adopters to be beta testors for, and FCA to go back and fix.
I would not dismiss it because it was FCA really. Like just about any manufacturer, any all new from the ground up car and platform is going to have early issues.

Be prepared to drive an orphan in 4 years. Where is Dodge Dart?
Here we've a lot Giulias rolling in the street. Don't worry this beast is close to perfection.
I once owned the "real" Giulia GT Veloce, a 1968 model. That plus the Giulietta and the gorgeous GTV were among the last real Alfas. They tried many times but couldn't bring back the glory days.
