I saw so many people with really lame names, I wanted mine to mean something to me. After a lot of thought and some time browsing a thesaurus I chose Vesperwind because one of the meanings of Vesper is a soft evening breeze. I felt that described my personality pretty darn well. (Also I did not realize at the time it had something to do with churches, not that it would have mattered much.)

I have taken a lot of flak for an odd name, but I feel very comfortable with it and have recently shortened my use name to simply Vesper. Simple, neat, elegant.

haaahaaa, we can call you Brad if you like!

I chose mine because I always liked the word and the meaning. I've used it for years as a user name on the internet. I also like the song by Blondie but that's not necessarily why I chose it.
