I ws wondering if any knows how to get your background expunged? I was arrested with two felony conducts of fraud and driving with a suspended lic. about 8 years ago. I have not been in trouble with the law but I am trying to get a better job now and need to get this expunged.
You will need a lawyer to do the paper work for you and sometimes they are only exxpunged on a condition of sentencing or your age at time of such conviction.
My understanding is if you plead guilty, were adjudicated, or found guilty on the felony charge then you cant get it expunged. If none of the above, then you have a chance. I included a link to the site to help you in your search.
This really depends on the state. Our state no longer allows expunging, but they do allow you to have your rights restored. And after so many years (between 7 and 10 I believe) your record shouldn't show up on basic background searches. At least in AZ that's the case...

Any help would be great

If you live in Florida go to web site fdle.state.fl us./espunge
click on the forth link to see if you qualify for espungment and there will
be a form there (w/address & phone#) you must fill out and send to the fdle(florida department of law enforcement) w/ a fee.... and they will contact you as to your eligibility & status.
I wasn't the one who got in trouble, but had to deal with it, because of my now ex husband. He got it, causing him a promotion (he's a CDOfficer).
He couldn't do anything on his own, and had to get a lawyer.
Still, it did cause him the promotion in the meantime, while it was dealt with.......
Good luck!
