Wow, I actually got the pole position - first time ever, I think! Everyone else must be sleeping in today.

Today's Question(s):

I was wondering, what does your morning routine consist of?

Whack the alarm clock when it goes off at 5
Short trip to "the facilities"
Dress and tie up hair
Take morning pills
Make lunches
Feed cat
Pour my first cup of coffee (I set the pot up the night before so it's ready when we hit the kitchen)
Check email while spouse fixes breakfast
Eat breakfast
Drink second cup of coffee while checking regular websites
Head out to the office by 7:30

Do you ever vary from this routine?

Sometimes I cut out the email and web-cruising if I need to be at work extra early.

Bonus Question:
In honor of Boss / Employee Exchange Day

If you switched places with your boss would you be able to do their job?

I could do at least some of it.

Or maybe I should of asked, would you want to do their job?

Oh, HECK no!

Are there any "perks" of their job you would enjoy?

Nope. Everyone in the team has pretty much the same perks.

Extra Credit Question:

When was the last time you had a good old fashion TV dinner?

Never. Not a fan of them.

I was wondering, what does your morning routine consist of ? it varies but the teeth get flossed (usually now) and brushed every morning

Do you ever vary from this routine ? there i go again - yep

If you switched places with your boss would you be able to do their job ? done it more than once

Or maybe I should of asked, would you want to do their job ? one of them, yes, the others, I wouldn't say "want" but I'd do - all but one.

Are there any "perks" of their job you would enjoy ? you mean like having sex on my desk with that handsome foreign doctor? Ok, maybe it wasn't her desk but 'something' was going on 'somewhere' in that office!

When was the last time you had a good old fashion TV dinner ? whoa, many many years ago. I don't have any issue with frozen food but the 'good old fashioned tv dinner' wouldn't be my first or tenth choice. That gummy stuffing under the turkey was sorta good in a salt-gum sort of way, though

BRAVO to MWBW who got the pole position AND completed her qotd first, too!

I was wondering, what does your morning routine consist of ?
Smacking the snooze alarm, feeding the cats, making lunch, working out, loading the dishwasher, showering, dressing, and dashing out the door.

Do you ever vary from this routine ?
The order may vary, but other than the number of times smacking the snooze alarm ... no.

If you switched places with your boss would you be able to do their job ?
Better.
Or maybe I should of asked, would you want to do their job ?
No, because my boss has to deal with senior management and they're a pain in the behind and know nothing about what our department does or should be doing.
Are there any "perks" of their job you would enjoy ?
My boss has the same perks I do.

When was the last time you had a good old fashion TV dinner ?
1964, probably.

Today is:
Sew Be It Day

That reminds me ... I need to do some mending!

Happy Friday, everyone!!!

Or maybe I should of asked, would you want to do their job ? Nope

Are there any "perks" of their job you would enjoy ? Other than the salary -- no.

Today's Question(s):

I was wondering, what does your morning routine consist of ?
As of today it's changed because I started walking. But here's what I do when I get up....make coffee first and foremost, pee, drink some water, pet the cat and the dog, and somewhere in between I light a cigarette. Now my routine will include working up to 30 minutes of walking every morning. I know, I know I need to stop smoking. But one battle at a time please.

Do you ever vary from this routine ?
I did today!

Bonus Question:
In honor of Boss / Employee Exchange Day

If you switched places with your boss would you be able to do their job ?
No boss thank goodness, but the ones that I had in the past I could easily have done their jobs, because they didn't Except for one...he was a freaking genius

Extra Credit Question:

When was the last time you had a good old fashion TV dinner ?
A few days ago and it was disgusting

I was wondering, what does your morning routine consist of ?
Wake up 7 hrs after going to bed (no alarm necessary), stagger towards kitchen. On the way, I switch the heater on if it's cool, then switch the computer on, then the kettle. Then a couple of minutes in the bathroom till kettle boils. Make coffee (plunger style, not percolator), sit down at computer. Check emails, check C-D, check my other message board. Since I am on a different time zone to C-D and my other message board there is always A LOT to read. Might require 3 cups of coffee.

Do you ever vary from this routine ?
Not very often!

Bonus Question:
In honor of Boss / Employee Exchange Day

If you switched places with your boss would you be able to do their job ?
I was the boss!

Or maybe I should of asked, would you want
my old job back ? Not any more!

Are there any "perks" of their job you would enjoy ?
When you have your own business and are the sole employee, there aren't many perks.... just long hours.

Extra Credit Question:

When was the last time you had a good old fashion TV dinner ?
Hmmm years and years.

Happy Friday to all!

Good Morning everyone!!!

Today's Question(s):

I was wondering, what does your morning routine consist of ? I get up...go to the bathroom(do you really want this much info?) shower, feed the nagging cat, dress, do the makeup, out the door.

Do you ever vary from this routine ? God help those that mess with my routine...it will mess me up for the rest of the day.

Bonus Question:
In honor of Boss / Employee Exchange Day

If you switched places with your boss would you be able to do their job ? Yes I could but funny thing...he couldn't do mine.
Or maybe I should of asked, would you want to do their job ? Sure..just not go to all the meetings.
Are there any "perks" of their job you would enjoy ? The work day requirements...(hmmm how to make this the Reader's Digest version)...he literally only has to come in for 2 hours each day to get credit for a full day.
Now this was created for those on salary to make up for the 14-16 hour days they sometimes put in without getting overtime. And yes...just like every place else, we have some that abuse it but most don't. He's not one that abuses it.

Extra Credit Question:

When was the last time you had a good old fashion TV dinner ? Oh yuck...blechhhhh....please don't make me!!!!!

Have a great day everyone!!!
