It's National Car Care Month!!
When was the last time you:
Washed your car or truck ? Ummm - I've NEVER washed it in the 17 years I've owned it... I take it to the car wash. Not only because I'm lazy, but also because we have water restrictions from time to time, due to drought conditions in parts of Australia - and those restrictions have meant washing the car with a bucket, not with a hose. It's just easier to take it to the car wash who do a reasonable job and don't seem to have the same water restrictions as householders.
Had the oil changed ? Probably about 9 months ago - I drive my car almost every day, but generally no more than a mile or so into town and back.
Rotated & balanced the tires ? Last Christmas when two new tyres were put on.
How may of you after reading the list are going to schedule any of the above ? Not me

I have a neighbor who's an unemployed program manager and now sits around the house all day, trying to be the program manager for all his neighbor's lives. I want to say this sort of thing to him all the time. But I don't because I know being laid off stinks and he's just trying to fix his self esteem.

Washed your car or truck ? Hubby and I washed the mini motorhome, which is our only vehicle in FL, last Friday.
Had the oil changed ? We did that over the summer. It's diesel so we are good for quite some time.
Rotated & balanced the tires ? Haven't had to do that on this car yet.

Washed your car or truck? Earlier this week. Had the oil changed? Two days before we left on vacation, so it would have been two weeks ago. Rotated & balanced the tires? I just recently got new tires on the car, so they haven't needed to be rotated and balanced since they were installed.

Nearly constantly over the past week. There is a huge controversy among the committee of volunteers I'm co-chairing, and everyone keeps trying to tell the co-chairs what to do and how to do it. I'm very close to being ready to just let them do it themselves.
