Did you know, if left to her own devices, a female cat may have three to seven kittens every four months. This is why population control using spaying and neutering is so important.

And.... A single pair of cats and their kittens can produce as many as 420,000 kittens in just 7 years!!!!!! Talk about droppin' your uterus!!!!

Wow - I knew they were prolific, but this is nuts! Another reason, of course, why people shouldn't allow their cats to roam outside the house.

There's a natural balance between so many cats and their arch enemy the mice. Mice reproduce a litter every 90 days.

I'm a dog person stuck with cats! The dogs wore out and now I'm stuck with cats that regenerate exponentially....
