Stubborness is the lock.

Not necessarily bad. I'm locking the door to, say, stepping off of a cliff.

Some of my choices are hanging on the hinges of destiny.

That is definitely true! That's probably the most profound proverb yet. I've often wondered which direction(s) my life would have taken if I had made different choices. I'm glad I made some choices but I also regret or wonder about a few key choices I've made over the years.

I hope they don't rust over time.

Any of us could write the same book, involving narrow, razor-thin escapes from the results of choices we could have made and didn't. Some times, just dwelling on it, takes my breath away or you'll find me jumping for joy in my backyard, not inside my house, as there's the risk you'll suffer a concussion
from hitting you head against the ceiling!

I can well-understand some Eastern Philosopher who once remarked: choice is agony, choicelessness is freedom.

I agonize everytime I get the Entertainment flier for this city with all the upcoming attractions for the upcoming weekend.

Please! Hurry! Put an end to my agony and give me Hobson's choice!
Kisses and hugs! Thank-you!

Same here, TT Dave. This one is really thought-provoking.
